In the Thorson family Christmas is sometimes less of a one day event and more like a marathon celebration. This weekend was the begining of the holiday fun. We spent the day at my grandmothers lake near Park Rapids with my mom, sister and family and some aunts and uncles. All the kids were great and had a wonderful time.
Oliver got a desk organizer for his 'writing center'. It came complete with pencils, tape dispenser and his very own stapler. Needless to say he was thrilled and was content doing his work all day long.

Cousin Owen plays the 'woodsman' hauling the Christmas tree through the woods. It is tradition at the lake to go into the woods and find the best 'Angel Tree' (named for their slight wispy nature).
